Poster Presentations

1. Posters will be on display throughout the duration of the conference. The Posters will be linked to various themes and arranged according to numbered codes representing the presenting authors.
2. Poster sizes must NOT exceed [100 cm (width) x 200 cm (height)]. Posters that exceed this dimension will either not be accommodated or will attract a penalty of $20 before being displayed.
3. Posters must be highly eligible and clearly visible and read from a minimum distance of 3m.
4. During the Special Poster presentation and Reception Session, all authors will be expected to be present to interact with the audience.
5. The author of the Poster adjudged to be the best will be rewarded. Assistance preparing good poster is available. Click here to Download.

Oral / PowerPoint Presentations

The size of all PowerPoint presentations must be less than 2MB (2000KB).

• Save your power point file as your surname, day and room of presentation [e.g. Koramus_Wed_Basement 1]
• PowerPoint presentations exceeding 15 slides (excluding title page and acknowledgement) will be returned to author for revision down to 15.
• All PowerPoint presentations must reach the LOC not later than January 20, 2009 and make sure you bring a back-up with you (attached to email or on pen drive). Email Presentations to scbafrica2009@conbio.org
• Total length of presentation is 18 mins [i.e. 14 mins for the talk & 4 mins for questions, comments and discussions]. Presenters will not be allowed to continue once they reach the 18 minutes mark.
• All presenting authors are expected to be present in the room of their presentation session at least 10 minutes before the starting time. This will enable you to preview your presentation on time.
